Finding Nemo Arms

Whether you’re into tactical preparedness, self defense, hunting or shooting a mile out, you need to discover Nemo Arms.

Take a moment to think: What is your favorite gun and why? You probably have several reasons…Could it be the way it feels in your hands? The sheer number of modifications you’ve made to it? Or simply the practicality of it? (Might even be all three and then some!)

When first discovering Nemo Arms, I wasn't sure what I was really looking at. It’s just another gas gun AR platform company, right?

Or is it?

If you’ve spent any time around the firearms industry, you recognize the fact that there are a lot of companies developing a lot of similar things. But the more I felt, carried, and shot the Nemo Arms rifles, the more I smiled out of pure enjoyment of handling these guns.

The Nemo Arms company started in 2011 with the vision to “design and manufacture advanced weapons systems for Military and Law Enforcement professionals.”

Out of this vision, their engineers have developed a hard-hitting lineup of top-quality, long-lasting, and aesthetically-pleasing firearms for every shooter.

Nemo Arms OMEN Watchman 300 Win Mag

Probably the most well known and popular Nemo Arms gun to date is the Nemo Arms OMEN Watchman 300 Win Mag.

Nemo spared nothing in creating a reliable and consistently accurate distance gas gun chambered in the giant round of 300 Win Mag.

The OMEN Watchman comes with a 24” Proof Research carbon fiber barrel–a Nemo Arms patented recoil reduction system, making shooting this large caliber rifle a breeze.

The gas system is set up for suppressed and unsuppressed shooting, and the overall ergonomics of this rifle are amazing for how large the caliber is.

This gun is built for battle, ready for competition, and a thrilling choice for shooting steel on the weekend.

Nemo Arms Battle Light SYN-COR 5.56 NATO

If you’re looking for something a little more practical for “day to day use,” but still want the Nemo Arms engineering genius, check out the Battle Light SYN-COR 5.56 NATO rifle.

The 5.56 NATO is a 11.5” barrel rifle with a tapped-on suppressor, bringing the overall “barrel length” to 17 inches. This makes the rifle “carbine length” (or common rifle length).

This rifle uses the same patented suppressor technology that the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) does. This technology allows you to shoot suppressed or unsuppressed by removing the suppressor baffle core while still keeping the external structure of the suppressor attacked.

Nemo Arms’ signature technology gives you a beautifully-built suppressed rifle that does not require an ATF short barrel rifle (SBR) tax stamp because of its design.

If this isn’t what you’re looking for, Nemo Arms has an impressive lineup of 5.56, .308, 6.5 Creedmoor and other gas gun platforms that will also rock your world.

Along with their rifle line, they have developed suppressors for every rifle platform they offer–or you can purchase one of their suppressors to be used on a rifle you already own.

Nemo suppressors range from shortened, pistol length to long gun length with easy detachment setups. Each attachment and accessory carries the same level of build quality and reliability as their firearms.

Nemo Arms Shotguns for All Generations

Over the years, Nemo Arms has pushed the benchmark of their products into new genres by dreaming up beautifully made firearms. One of the latest additions to the Nemo Arms family is their line of shotguns that many refer to as “Heritage Shotguns”: models meant to be passed on through the generations.

The Nemo Arms NXL, NX and NXS shotguns rival brands like Browning and Benelli in the craftsmanship and quality materials used to make these break-open shotguns. These models are not cheap in build or price, but they last as long and run less than their $6000 Browning and Benelli counterparts.

Their shotgun line comes in 12-30” barrel lengths chambered in 28, 20, and 12 gauge.

Nemo Arms Pistols

The final frontier for Nemo to venture into is the pistol world.

We’ve been holding our breath for a Nemo Arms-designed-and-built pistol since they announced the development of the 9mm-chambered Monark series. This “stock” pistol comes with modern technology that other brands charge extra for, or that you would have to take to a custom shop to get.

The Monark pistols are built with a stainless steel slide and billet aluminum frame. They have ported, serrated, and cut slides to reduce weight and enhance firearm manipulation–and give the option to add a red dot optic.

Each pistol comes with a threaded barrel, ambidextrous slide release for left-handed shooters, and pic rail for light or laser attachments. Additionally, extended mag base plates allow for extra freedom seeds and grip real estate when doing a mag change.

Not only is this a beautifully designed gun, but the medium-sized build makes it ideal for use in a holster for military combat, civilian duty, or at the range for both competition and casual target shooting.
